
Border Guard Breaks Smuggling Network. Foreigners Detained in Kalisz
Eight foreigners: Iraqis, Indians, and a Bangladeshi citizen were detained by Border Guard officers from Kalisz
The men, lacking the required documents, attempted to cross from Latvia to Germany. Along with them, a Romanian who organized the migrant smuggling was also caught.
The Romanian man has already been placed in a guarded center for foreigners. He has been charged with organizing illegal border crossings for others. He admitted to the charges and provided explanations.
The Romanian citizen will be deported from Poland. The border guards detained the group on the A2 motorway in Kolsko County. They were all traveling in a Volkswagen driven by the Romanian. The foreigners were also charged and fined. All have been handed over to the Lithuanian authorities
